Job summary

Equans is seeking a Digital Operations Centre Manager to lead the DOC team in Bellshill/Glasgow, supporting BMS Engineers and digital/IoT services across the UK.

You will oversee day-to-day management, drive KPI delivery, and ensure contract compliance while collaborating with PMO and client teams.

Qualifications

• Degree level education or trade qualification in electrotechnical/remote systems.
• Experience managing self-delivered and subcontracted BMS services at scale.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, M&E systems and BMS industry.
• Proven P&L responsibility with a track record of success.
• Excellent client focus and communication skills.

• Lead the Digital Operations Centre and manage the DOC team (approx. 10 staff).
• Conduct regular contract reviews with customers and senior clients; upsell where appropriate.
• Deliver contract KPIs and ensure SLAs are met; manage compliance and safety.

Job description

Equans is looking for a Digital Operations Centre Manager to join our Digital business, based from our office in Bellshill in Glasgow supporting the on site BMS Engineers who are supporting our Mobile BMS Engineers across the UK.

Key activities

• Responsibility for digital service provision in the DOC
• Day to Day Management of BMS Remote Service Engineers, BMS Project Support and other digital/IoT services (approx. 10 persons)
• Regular contract reviews with customers and senior clients, upselling services where possible
• Excellent commercial acumen, understanding of KPIs & strong history of successfully delivery contracts
• BMS, IT, Software, Operational understanding and awareness
• Delivery of contract KPI’s – meeting SLAs
• Management of statutory, legal, safety and contract compliance standards
• Stakeholder engagement and supporting PMO
• P&L responsibility between £1m - £3m
• Travelling to sites in the portfolio to undertake service reviews, safety visits and meet teams
• Degree level education, or, Qualified and experienced trade (electrotechnical/remote systems)
• Experience of managing self-delivered and subcontracted BMS services on a large scale, software, networking and Java
• Thorough working knowledge of the BMS industry and systems our teams may encounter (ie, Trend, Tridium, Siemens etc)
• Excellent knowledge of HVAC plant and other M&E systems
• Experience within a variety of contract environments
• P&L Responsibility with a track record of success
• Strong client focus and clear, concise communicationskills
• Excellent commercial acumen, understanding of KPIs & strong history of successfully delivery contracts in financial terms
• Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with the team, clients, support functions and other departments to optimise service levels
• Working knowledge of CAFM/Other Systems
