Job summary

Remedy Education are seeking a confident and creative Digital Media Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming East London school. You will support students with practical digital media tasks, helping them stay engaged and focused in lessons.

The role involves assisting with editing, filming, photography or design work, 1:1 and small group support, and helping pupils understand instructions while encouraging creativity and independence. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Background or strong interest in Digital Media, IT, Design or Creative Technology.
• Experience using creative software or digital media tools is desirable.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is preferred.
• Patient, reliable and proactive approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support students during digital media and creative technology lessons.
• Assist with practical tasks such as editing, filming, photography or design work.
• Help pupils understand instructions and complete classroom activities.
• Work 1:1 and with small groups to support engagement and progress.
• Assist the teacher with resources, equipment and lesson preparation.
• Encourage creativity, confidence and independent learning.
• Support positive behaviour and classroom routines.
