The Opportunity:
A vacancy has arisen for a dynamic, consumer-centric Digital Marketing Executive in Clarion’s Enthusiast Department across the Baby portfolio - https://www.thebabyshow.co.uk/excel, The Baby Show Olympia London, The Baby Show NEC Birmingham.
Born in 2002, The Baby Show is the leading Baby, Pregnancy and Parenting B2C Event in the UK. Taking place three times a year at ExCeL London, NEC Birmingham and Olympia London, the live show supports some 70,000 expectant and new parents, babies and grandparents every year.
With the show being the nation’s largest shopping destination for all things baby, attendees can compare, try, and buy from over 350 brands. It also offers a unique visitor experience with free support, information and advice from the UK’s leading baby and parenting experts on everything from sleep, birth, breastfeeding and first aid to weaning and development.
This exciting new role offers a great opportunity to have an impact on all the above events. The role will work closely with the Marketing Manager, and Senior Marketing Campaign Executive to implement each marketing plan in line with the event strategy. You will report directly to the Marketing Manager, and they will provide the opportunity for development in addition to leadership, support, and guidance.
The Candidate:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, articulate and extremely competent, customer-centric individual who is ready to take on the responsibilities of this Digital Marketing Executive role. The ideal candidate will have a strong set of digital skills and be ready to drive forward a comprehensive digital campaign as well as having good experience of the core principles of marketing and events.
The candidate will have solid previous marketing experience, with a focus on implementing digital campaigns, as well as good communication social media and organisational skills. They will need to be capable of working within a fast-paced environment, across different campaigns at the same time which are essential. The candidate will work alongside the wider marketing team to set and deliver key metrics in accordance with the overall event marketing strategy.
Strong digital marketing experience with proven success in executing digital marketing and social media campaigns. This role requires someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and can seamlessly integrate online marketing strategies with on-site event activities.
