We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This is an important and exciting marketing role that is key to the future success of the business. You will be jointly responsible (with the Marketing Manager) for the website and the main digital acquisition channels (SEO, PPC, Online Display & Affiliates). It’s a core business objective to exponentially grow enquiries and online bookings, and you will share responsibility for that.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage workloads across different disciplines whilst constantly striving for improvements and feeding back on performance and results. The candidate will be a self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team, proactively seeking improvements and innovations across the marketing mix. This is a hybrid working role, with typically 2-3 days per week required in the Chiswick office (essential).
Ecommerce / Website
- Jointly responsible for growing online bookings across all products, in line with business targets and objectives.
- Responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing the website (desktop and mobile). We are embarking on a significant web development project, and the Digital Executive will be heavily involved.
- Using GA4 and other analytics platforms daily, responsible for monitoring, reporting, and improving customer journeys, and reporting on web traffic quality and quantity from all channels.
- Implementing an ongoing development roadmap aligned with budgets and objectives, and reporting results monthly.
- Optimizing web inquiries and collecting customer data (e.g., email sign-ups) to generate sales leads and grow the CRM database.
- Working closely with the website development agency to ensure website performance by assessing, validating, and resolving technical bugs.
- Monitoring competitor websites for industry trends and making recommendations for improvements.
Search Marketing
Organic (SEO)
- Responsible for the SEO strategy, targeting #1 rankings for priority keywords, with monthly reporting and recommendations.
- Briefing the SEO agency on priorities and keywords to maximize impact during key periods.
- Keeping updated on Google algorithm changes and SEO best practices.
Paid (PPC) & Affiliates
- Managing budgets and keyword priorities with the PPC agency, including product promotions.
- Reviewing performance reports and optimizing campaigns for ROI.
- Setting up display ad campaigns, supplying creative assets, and targeting.
- Monitoring competitor activity and reporting insights.
- Collaborating with affiliates to increase traffic and ROI.
About You:
- Proficient in reporting tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Experience managing PPC campaigns and budgets.
- Familiar with content management systems (CMS) for website updates.
- Experience with e-commerce websites and techniques.
- Understanding of website design to enhance conversion rates.
- Knowledge of SEO techniques and HTML coding.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience with Photoshop.
- Passionate traveler, ideally with skiing or snowboarding experience, capable of creating engaging content as a travel expert.
