Job Introduction

Digital Marketing Executive

Salary: £27,000 to £31,000 depending on experience

Permanent

Hybrid – Folkestone OR London offices

If you're passionate about digital marketing, enjoy creating great customer experiences and love seeing the impact your work can have, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Saga Financial Services is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Marketing Team. Reporting to the SEO and Content Lead, you'll work with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, supporting a variety of digital marketing activity as we continue to enhance our existing products and launch new propositions.

This is a varied role where no two days are likely to be the same. You'll be involved in everything from creating, editing, formatting and publishing content on our website, through to analysing performance and helping us identify opportunities to improve and optimise the customer experience.

You'll need to be someone who takes pride in getting the detail right, understands good website best practice and enjoys taking ownership of your work. You'll be comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities, taking initiative and keeping things moving, even when things get busy.

We work in a hybrid way at Saga, both at home and in the office. Our site locations for this role are Enbrook and Havas, giving you the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues while also enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working.

Role Responsibility
  • Maintain and update the Financial Services website using our CMS (Content Management System – Sitecore).
  • Support the creation and publication of content across our Financial Services products, including articles, campaign pages and product pages.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to make sure content is accurate, engaging and meets the relevant requirements.
  • Manage regular reviews of existing content, ensuring it remains up to date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Use digital tools, including Adobe Analytics, to understand website performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Help implement website improvements through our shared CRO plan.
  • Work alongside the SEO and Content Lead, using tools such as Siteimprove, to support effective content creation and management.
  • Work with supporting agencies to deliver content activity within a regulated environment.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams including Creative Services, Product, Compliance and the wider Digital Team.
  • Work closely with digital designers and developers to help create and manage website development.
  • Balance multiple projects and priorities, taking ownership and driving activity forward to keep momentum.
The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is organised, curious and enjoys getting stuck into digital marketing. You'll have a good eye for detail and take pride in producing high-quality work, while also being comfortable working at pace and managing a number of different priorities.

You’ll be a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with people across different teams and organisations. Just as importantly, you'll be someone who is happy to take the initiative, look for solutions and find ways to keep things moving.

  • Confident creating, editing, formatting and publishing content within a website CMS.
  • Good understanding of content governance, including content standards, approval processes, brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with Sitecore or a similar CMS.
  • Good working knowledge of SEO and accessibility best practice.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a well‑organised approach to your work.
  • Ability to flex and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  • High levels of drive, enthusiasm and energy.
  • A creative and innovative approach, with the confidence to bring new ideas to the table.
  • Experience of managing multiple tasks and priorities, with the ability to stay organised and focused.
  • A solution‑oriented approach to challenges, with the ability to take ownership and drive work forward.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and positive working relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different functions, both internally and externally.
  • A genuine team‑player who enjoys working with others to achieve a shared goal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
Desirable / helpful experience:
  • Experience using Adobe Analytics or similar digital analytics tools.
  • Experience using Siteimprove or similar content governance tools.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment.
