About You:

We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Digital Marketing Executive to join the Neilson team. If you have a good understanding of digital marketing, have the abilities to report on and optimise performance marketing channels, plus you have a love for travel or sport, we’d love to hear from you.

Role Overview:

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll help us to achieve our ambitious online marketing goals. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks across the digital marketing spectrum, including, display & video campaigns, paid media advertising including paid search and paid social, activating affiliate marketing programmes, with involvements in content planning, audience strategy, campaign optimisation, budget pacing, reporting and measurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including display &video, affiliates, ppc and paid social.
  • Manage and optimise Neilson’s online presence through paid media campaigns, deploying engaging creative that resonates with well targeted audiences.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our campaigns are fully optimised for results-driven performance.
  • Generate reports and analyse data to measure the success of our campaigns, identifying areas for improvement & opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development, planning and implementation of the overall digital marketing strategy.
  • Conduct competitor and industry analysis, staying up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, innovations and best practices.
Personal Specification:
  • Experience in a digital marketing or commercial focused role, driving online performance and web sales.
  • Understanding of paid social, ppc, affiliate marketing, display and video, with a grasp on performance marketing principles.
  • Excellent numerical skills with the ability to track, measure, and report on marketing campaign performance against KPIs.
  • Experience with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, and digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Meta Ads.
  • Proven ability to develop, plan and implement digital campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
  • Possesses strong stakeholder management qualities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven team environment.
  • High attention to detail, with strong organisational skills.
  • A passion for travel, sport, health and fitness (a plus!)
Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Experience using online analytics tools like Google Analytics
  • Understanding of Meta Business Suite, Google Ads & AWIN
  • Confident using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Outlook
  • Familiarity with cloud-based tools like Google Drive & OneDrive
  • Travel or sports & fitness industry experience (desirable)
Qualifications:
  • Google or Meta online certifications (desirable, not essential)
