Our client, a leading aerospace material supplier, is looking to recruit a Digital Marketing/E-Commerce Manager based at their offices in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

Main Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Procurement Director, the Digital Marketing/E-Commerce Manager will lead the company’s e-commerce operations, driving online sales growth, optimizing customer experience, and expanding digital presence. The role involves shaping online presence, integrating platforms within the group, and expanding product lines to meet market demands.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement web marketing strategies to increase online sales and industry presence.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team, fostering professional growth.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee platform development and maintenance, ensuring scalability and alignment with growth goals.
  • SEO and Digital Marketing: Lead SEO strategies and marketing campaigns to enhance visibility and attract users.
  • Customer Experience Management: Resolve order and customer queries for seamless service.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze performance data to optimize sales and user experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with group sites to ensure system integration and strategic expansion.
  • Product Line Expansion: Collaborate with product management to enhance offerings based on market trends.
  • Project Management: Lead digital projects, ensuring timely completion and strategic alignment.
  • Strategic Integration: Coordinate between e-commerce and other business units for cohesive digital strategies.

Requirements include extensive e-commerce management experience, leadership skills, analytical ability, technical proficiency, excellent communication, systems integration expertise, and a relevant degree or equivalent experience. The candidate should have experience in B2B web sales, marketing campaigns, SEO, and website development.
