Job summary

The Growth Company’s Marketing Manchester team is seeking a Digital Assistant to support the development of digital channels and the delivery of digital content, campaigns and activity. This hybrid role requires at least one day per week in our Manchester office.

Key duties include planning and delivering digital marketing across websites, social media and email; creating engaging written, visual and video content; managing digital platforms; gathering content and data with internal teams;

Qualifications

• Ability to write engaging content for a range of digital channels.
• Experience using content management systems and email marketing platforms.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and how data informs activity.
• Strong IT skills including MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and digital publishing principles.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of digital marketing across websites, social media and email.
• Create, edit and publish engaging written, visual and video content for diverse audiences.
• Assist with day-to-day management of Marketing Manchester’s digital platforms, ensuring content remains accurate and up-to-date.
• Gather content and data by working with internal teams, stakeholders and partner organisations.
• Support production of digital performance reports through data collection and analysis.
• Ensure sustainable destination practices are considered in digital activity and campaigns.
