What's the role

Join our Digital Innovation team dedicated to advancing Shell's digital transformation and supporting Shell's transition to becoming a net-zero emissions business while providing the energy that people around the world need today.

What you'll be doing

As the Digital Innovation Analyst, you will work across projects focusing on supporting the Digital Innovation Team. You will play a critical role in driving digital transformation initiatives, analyzing emerging technologies, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our business processes and customer experiences.

You will carry out tasks related to the management of projects and team portfolio, including:

  1. Stakeholder management and coordination.
  2. Clear and concise communications with stakeholders and team members. Connecting and collaborating with project teams, subject matter experts, researchers, and stakeholders.
  3. Plan and coordinate project delivery and change management across the team portfolio.
  4. Create clear documentation to communicate requirements and report related information of processes and solutions to keep stakeholders and team members aligned with the solution over the project lifecycle.
  5. Support the valuation process of projects in the team portfolio.
  6. Lead the internal communications and awareness of team activities.
  7. Work closely with project teams, technical experts, and other business analysts to ensure that user stories, functional and non-functional requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and effectively integrated into project plans and deliverables.
  8. Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options.
  9. Ability to link the technical solutions with business strategy when working with the business stakeholders.
  10. Be familiar with the project lifecycle and software delivery models.
  11. Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather and validate non-functional requirements, ensuring that they are clearly defined, prioritized, and agreed upon.
  12. Monitor and report on the portfolio health, progress, and issues to necessary stakeholders.
What you bring
  1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  2. Hands-on experience in digital innovation, technology analysis, or a related field.
  3. Experience working and collaborating with a team of researchers and data scientists.
  4. Project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  5. Good communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills and facilitation abilities.
  7. Problem-solving aptitude, including critical thinking, data analysis, and decision-making skills.
  8. Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project models is an asset.
