Job summary

Hyndburn Borough Council seeks an experienced Digital Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, security and resilience of the council’s ICT infrastructure. You’ll manage networks, servers and cloud-based services supporting front and back-office operations, driving modernisation and high availability.

You will work with senior stakeholders, oversee cloud migration, ensure GDPR and PCI compliance, and mentor technical staff while delivering critical ICT projects on time and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Experience of designing, implementing and maintaining ICT networks.
• Experience of cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, maintenance and development of network and server infrastructure.
• Oversee migration of on-premise services to cloud environments.
• Ensure systems are secure, resilient and compliant with GDPR and PCI requirements.
• Lead and deliver ICT projects from inception to completion.
• Mentor and develop network and technical staff; manage risk.
• Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers and external partners.
