Job summary

Hyndburn Borough Council is seeking an experienced Digital Infrastructure Manager to lead the development, security and resilience of the Council’s digital infrastructure, including networks, servers and cloud-based services.

You will drive modernisation, migration to cloud, high availability, and compliance with GDPR and PCI, while mentoring staff and delivering ICT projects. Strong stakeholder engagement and a track record in cyber security and risk management are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as an ICT professional with networks, infrastructure and cyber security knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage staff and work with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, maintenance and development of the Council's network and server infrastructure.
• Manage the migration of on‑premise services to cloud-based environments.
• Ensure systems are secure, resilient and compliant with GDPR and PCI requirements.
• Lead and deliver technical and corporate ICT projects from inception to completion.
• Provide expert technical advice and problem-solving support across the organisation.
