Placements24 is seeking a motivated Digital Marketing & E-commerce Executive to drive online sales and brand presence. Based in Randburg, Gauteng, this role focuses on developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, managing e-commerce platforms, and leveraging social media to connect with target audiences.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in digital marketing and e-commerce, with expertise in SEO/SEM, GA, content strategy, and experience with Magento, Shopify or WooCommerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce management.
• Proven expertise in SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and social media marketing platforms.
• Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce).
• Strong understanding of content strategy and creation for digital channels.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, content, email, social media).
• Manage and optimize the e-commerce website for user-friendly interface and checkout flow.
• Oversee social media activities, content creation, campaigns, and performance tracking.
• Analyze website traffic and campaign performance to provide actionable insights.
• Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Social Ads) to drive traffic and conversions.
• Collaborate with creative teams on marketing collateral and website content.
• Monitor industry trends and competitors to stay ahead in digital marketing and e-commerce.
• Manage marketing budgets and ensure measurable ROI.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service to align customer experience.
