Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a solutions-focused architect with strong PLM and Digital Engineering expertise in Manchester. You will analyze business and technology challenges, decomposing them into robust solution options and recommendations, and lead client discussions through technical aspects of business transformation.

You’ll shape strategy, requirements and architecture across systems. You will collaborate with clients and vendors, driving governance, data migrations and integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience in a major engineering organisation or leading consulting firm.
• Proven ability to present architectural options and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, consultants and delivery teams to determine solution needs.
• Define and architect solutions for Digital Engineering requirements.
• Create and maintain architectural artifacts through project phases.
• Support Project Manager to meet governance and delivery timelines.
• Provide technical leadership across the team and project lifecycle.
• Offer enterprise input to construct holistic data and application solutions.
• Document architectural processes, standards and governance artifacts.
