Qualifications

Supports clients and project teams with developing and maintaining information requirements and standards, developing and managing of processes within a common data environment and leading the delivery of the information management function for project team. Advises, innovates, develops and implement processes described within ISO19650 series. This includes how the information is produced and assured for digital delivery.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery team/s throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Delegating tasks to others in a way that ensures they are completed effectively.
  • Developing and maintaining an understanding of ISO19650 and any applicable standards for clients.
  • Ensuring security protocols have been followed for viewing and issuing of information on all projects.
  • Implementing governance and assurance processes.
  • Participating in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments.
  • Producing information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR and EIR) as per ISO 19650.
  • Producing information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources.
  • Reading, understanding and supporting the delivery of all Mace process and procedures guides.
  • Object library development in alignment with wider BIM strategy.
  • Assurance and checking of the information model.
  • Production of the information model. (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only)
  • Reviewing current technology solutions and research new solutions that can be used to improve the BIM process including emerging technologies.
  • Staying up to date on the latest developments of applicable classifications.
  • Supporting construction sequencing strategy using information models.
  • Supporting Mace cost team in preparation of cost plans from information models.
  • Providing training on using databases, analysing data, creating templates, conducting assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics.
  • Understanding and performing in line with information management assignment matrix (from Table A.1 of BS EN ISO 19650-2).
  • Understanding the setup of processes and tools for CDEs.
  • Upskilling the client team, Mace project managers and design team by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Collaborating with the Mace PM and design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace Way.

You’ll need to have:

  • Content management library systems.

  • Personal effectiveness, plans and organises, collaborates and networks, solves problems, adapts and responds to change, delivers results and exceeds clients’ expectations.
  • Leads and supervises, persuades and influences, creates and innovates, presents and communicates.
  • Level 6 qualifications (or equivalent) degree apprenticeship, degree with honours - for example bachelor of the arts (BA) hons, Bachelor of Science (BSc) hons, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, level 6 award, level 6 certificate, level 6 diploma, level 6 NVQ.
