Job summary

Atos in Birmingham seeks an experienced software/automation engineer to develop agentic solutions within the Digital Engineer platform, using AI-assisted coding, workflow orchestration, and platform-native components.

You will build agents, configure workflows, and integrate with ITSM and APIs while collaborating with architects to deliver reusable components. 3–8 years in software development or automation engineering is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern development tools and cloud-native environments.
• Familiarity with AI and automation concepts is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and configure agents, workflows, and integrations
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development
• Implement agent logic, prompts, and decision flows

Required Skills

• Strong software development skills (Python, APIs, scripting)
• Experience with automation and workflow platforms
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent patterns
• Understanding of integration patterns and enterprise systems

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with tools like n8n, LangGraph, or similar
• Knowledge of AI observability and testing frameworks
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience in ITSM automation or managed services
