Job summary

Condé Nast’s House & Garden is seeking an experienced Digital Editor to lead daily online output across web, newsletters and emerging platforms, maintaining the brand’s voice and editorial authority.

You will edit and commission digital-first stories, optimise for SEO and audience growth, collaborate with social, video and editorial teams, and manage publishing workflows to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior editorial role within publishing or media.
• Strong editing, commissioning and homepage management experience.
• Excellent understanding of digital publishing workflows, SEO and audience development.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Digital Director to execute daily digital editorial strategy across web, newsletters and key publishing platforms.
• Own and manage the daily publishing schedule, ensuring content is planned, commissioned, edited and published efficiently.
• Oversee and regularly update the homepage, ensuring it is visually engaging and aligned with priorities and seasonal moments.
• Commission, edit and publish digital-first stories across houses, interiors, decoration, gardens, design, lifestyle and trends.
• Support commissioning priorities to develop a pipeline of evergreen and search-led content.
• Collaborate with social, video, visuals and editorial teams to maximise reach and impact.
