Laminar Projects is seeking a seasoned Commercial Manager to elevate our data-driven approach to construction projects in the UK. You will own the cost and commercial strategy across concept through close-out, partnering with project managers, planners, and design teams to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes.

You will lead pre-construction estimating and live cost management, drive scalable best practices, and mentor others while championing digital tools over spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Mastery in Commercial Management with 10+ years of construction project experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Track record of impactful project outcomes beyond basics.

Responsibilities

• Own project costs across all stage gates, with cost engineers where applicable.
• Lead pre-construction estimating and live cost management to protect client interests.
• Provide clear stakeholder reports and insights to enable informed decisions.
• Develop scalable commercial practices and tools with the team.
• Support the development of colleagues and teams through mentoring.
