Job summary

Horizon56 seeks a Digital Operations Engineer to join our Deployment team in Aberdeen/North-East Scotland, combining offshore operations experience with digital deployment skills to help clients adopt our software.

You will train drilling crews, support offshore and onshore deployments, and work with our Product team to feed field feedback. A drilling background and strong communication are essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Operational drilling experience required (offshore/onshore).
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach personnel in the Horizon56 software ecosystem.
• Support deployments offshore, onshore and remotely.
• Drive software adoption and new digital ways of working with drilling crews.
• Monitor deployment progress and user adoption and provide targeted coaching.
• Collaborate closely with customers, offshore teams and Horizon56's technical teams.
• Test and verify new functionality and software releases.
• Capture operational feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of our products and deployment processes.
