Job summary

Sewell Group in Hull across Sewell Construction and Illingworth & Gregory is seeking a Digital Design Coordinator. You will create 3D visualisations and digital collateral for bids, integrate programmes with models for 4D planning, and prepare digital models for live sites.

You’ll work with AR tools and support the Digital Construction Academy across Yorkshire. The role requires travel across Yorkshire, a full UK driving licence, and collaboration with bid teams, designers, and site staff to

Qualifications

  • Qualification in construction, architectural technology, digital construction, BIM, design or a related subject.
  • Experience of 3D modelling through employment, education, a placement or personal projects.
  • Interest in how digital technology can solve practical construction challenges.
  • The creativity to make technical information clear and engaging.
  • The confidence to work with people from the bid room to the construction site.
  • The curiosity to investigate new software and learn how to use it.
  • A practical, organised and collaborative approach.
  • A full UK driving licence, travel across Yorkshire.

Job description

Location: Hull, Leads Road (with travel across Yorkshire)

Hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Salary: Dependant on experience

Role Overview

Working across Sewell Construction and Illingworth & Gregory, the Digital Design Coordinator will connect pre-construction thinking with practical project delivery across Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will be involved from the earliest stages of a project, helping our bid teams bring their ideas to life through 3D visualisations, digital content and engaging bid collateral. The Digital Design Coordinator will help combine project programmes with digital models to produce4D planning outputs, making proposed construction sequences easier to understand and communicate.

Additionally, they will work alongside our project and site management teams to turn 3D models into practical construction tools. This will include preparing models for site use, utilising augmented reality applications and helping colleagues embed digital technology in planning, coordination and delivery.

The Digital Design Coordinator will also help us develop and deliver content for ourDigital Construction Academy, creating content and supporting colleagues to inspire the next generation of the construction industry.
