Job summary

NHS England is seeking a Deputy Director of Delivery to lead transformation across the Transforming and Connecting Care (TCC) programme. You will work with architects, engineers, clinicians, product teams and policy colleagues to deliver secure, shared health information and improved care at scale.

Reporting to the Programme Director, you will translate strategy into delivery plans, governance and measurable outcomes, driving adoption and benefits realisation across national, regional and local

Qualifications

• Masters level or equivalent experience at senior level.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple functions and organisations.
• Experience delivering major technology, transformational and organisational change programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, coordination and delivery of transformation activity across the TCC programme.
• Develop transformation plans, operating models, adoption strategies and benefits realisation frameworks.
• Build relationships with senior leaders, clinicians, patients, the public, operational teams, regions, suppliers and delivery partners.
• Identify and manage interdependencies across workstreams to ensure coordinated delivery.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Support governance and assurance arrangements with clear reporting and analysis.
• Represent the programme at senior forums and drive delivery of TCC objectives.
• Turn strategic plans into delivery and lead large-scale organisational change.
