Job summary

Sweco UK Ltd is seeking a Digital Delivery Technician in Leeds to produce detailed BIM models, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure model quality across water projects. The role offers flexible, hybrid working with three days in the office and opportunities to grow technical expertise.

You will work on landmark schemes, enhance digital delivery, and contribute to sustainable water solutions for clients across the UK.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience using Revit for detailed models.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Plant 3D is desirable.
  • Familiar with Common Data Environments (CDEs), such as Autodesk Forma.

Responsibilities

  • Create 3D models in Revit and other authorised applications.
  • Federate models in Navisworks or Autodesk ACC.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers to solve challenges.
  • Ensure BIM standards and model quality meet client requirements.
  • Support senior colleagues and take responsibility for outputs.

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Digital Delivery Technician to join our dynamic and growing multi-disciplinary design teams in Leeds. This role involves providing detailed designs for water-related projects across the UK. Enjoy flexible working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and the option of adjusted start and finish times.

What does the role involve?
  • Creating 3D models predominantly in Revit, and as required using Civil 3D, Plant 3D or Other authorised applications.
  • Federating models within Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or similar platforms.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary Engineers to solve complex challenges.
  • Contributing to the technical success of projects as a team.
  • Ensuring BIM standards and quality of modelled information meet client requirements.
  • Working within a team environment under senior colleagues' supervision.
  • Taking responsibility for the quality of BIM models and any outputs produced.

To be successful in this role you will possess:
  • Proven experience in Revit, with desirable experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Plant 3D.
  • Knowledge and experience working in Common Data Environments (CDEs), such as Autodesk Forma.
  • Proven experience in preparing Revit models and generating output documentation, including annotated 2D detailed design plans.
  • Proven experience of federating models from 3rd party suppliers and other project stakeholders.
  • The ability to communicate fluently and respectfully with team members.
  • A positive and collaborative attitude, thriving in a team environment.
  • The ability to plan and be forward‑thinking, promoting change, good practice, and constructively challenging accepted norms.
