Job summary

Morson Group seeks a Digital Delivery Lead / IT Project Manager for a Derby-based hybrid role on a £700-£750 daily rate inside IR35. The initial contract is 6 months, with responsibilities across digital, data and AI programmes.

You will drive the Digital Delivery Operating Model, coordinate multiple workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and deliver an Agentic AI Engineering workflow tool as part of a broader digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the adoption and embedding of the Digital Delivery Operating Model across the Digital, Data & AI Programme.
• Coordinate delivery activity across multiple digital, data and AI workstreams.
• Provide clear visibility of delivery progress, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Work with Product, Data, AI, Engineering and technology teams to maintain alignment across the programme.
• Establish and maintain Agile delivery practices, ceremonies and governance.
• Facilitate planning, prioritisation, dependency management and delivery reviews.
• Identify delivery blockers and drive resolution across teams and stakeholders.
• Provide clear reporting and delivery insight to senior programme and business stakeholders.
• Ensure projects and workstreams remain aligned to outcomes, timelines and standards.
• Take direct Project Management responsibility for the delivery of an Agentic AI Engineering workflow tool.
• Define scope, manage delivery plans and coordinate implementation with stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of digital delivery processes and governance.
• Help establish a consistent, outcome-focused approach to delivering digital products and services.

Digital Delivery Lead / IT Project Manager - £700-£750 per day - Inside IR35 - Hybrid working from a site in Derby - 6 Months initial contract.

We are supporting an exciting and rapidly growing Small Modular Reactor (SMR) organisation as they continue to build out their digital, data and AI capabilities.

We are looking for a Digital Delivery Lead / Project Manager with strong Agile delivery experience to help drive the adoption of a Digital Delivery Operating Model across a major Digital, Data & AI Programme.

This is a high-visibility delivery role combining programme-level coordination with direct project management responsibility. You will work across multiple AI and Data Analytics workstreams, ensuring delivery remains coordinated, structured and aligned to the wider programme objectives.

Alongside this, you will take direct responsibility for the successful delivery of an Agentic AI Engineering workflow tool — giving you the opportunity to work on a genuinely innovative digital product within an organisation at the forefront of the next generation of nuclear energy.

About you

We are looking for an experienced Digital Delivery Lead, Senior Project Manager or Agile Project Manager who is comfortable operating across both programme and individual project environments.

• Strong experience delivering digital, data or technology programmes and projects.
• Strong Agile delivery experience, with a practical understanding of Agile methodologies and ways of working.
• Experience coordinating multiple delivery workstreams and managing complex dependencies.
• Proven experience working with Product, Data, AI, Engineering or technology teams.
• Strong project management fundamentals across planning, governance, RAID, dependencies and stakeholder management.
• Experience establishing or embedding delivery frameworks, operating models or Agile ways of working.
• The ability to work confidently with both technical and senior business stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach, with the ability to bring structure to complex environments.
• Experience delivering AI, automation, data analytics or emerging technology projects would be highly beneficial.
