Home Based - This role needs to be based in the UK and requires the successful candidate to undergo enhanced security approvals which includes the need to have lived in the UK for at least the last 3 years.
We are looking for a Digital Data & Reporting Analyst to join the Pensions Digital team. The team you will be joining ensure that Capita Pensions Solutions have market leading digital experiences for our clients.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge on tagging the digital journey to drive personalisation, online marketing trends, analyse data for insights, create, and optimise marketing campaigns.
Initially you will be working on Google Analytics 4 and using data engineering to produce PowerBI platforms for our existing online pensions platform, you will also be working closely with the digital design team and product owners to understand the long-term personalised journey and reporting aspiration for our new pension platform. You will identify the key data that is needed to achieve defined outcomes.
You will work with the team throughout development, to test the hypothesis and to ensure that the launched solution meets the initial need. Once the new solutions are live you will monitor the data, identify trends, respond to issues and develop the reporting suite.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accuracy and quality of performance and business data, and how they are used
- Responsible for the accuracy and quality of data and analysis, and how they are used
- Describe the importance of performance measures, their relation to business objectives and how they vary at different stages of the product life cycle
- Develop an understanding of the wider analytics context, tools and techniques
- Understand and work with colleagues to apply core techniques for analysis and insight
- Perform data preparation and cleansing with limited guidance
- Present clear insights that colleagues can understand and use
- Understand the appropriate media to communicate findings
- Engaged with and actively contribute to data analytics community
- Understand the concept of data being fit for purpose, and the context of the data
- Work on the existing PowerBI platform bringing in new data and producing new pages and reports for internal stakeholders
- Identify the digital data required to measure progress against the outcomes
- Work closely with the Product and UX teams to ensure the data is tagged correctly and identify gaps.
- Working closely with the design team to ensure customer insights are incorporated into designed experiences and forming a compelling story around it.
- Work with cross-functional teams and enable data-driven decisions
- Improve the process of digital analytics with creative analytics solutions
- Work with data architecture team in maintaining data integrity
- Evaluate site performance and analyse web analytics
- Develop reporting structure for marketing channels
- Develop and evolve the reporting suite that keeps stakeholders up to date with progress
- Use SEO insight and trends to improve performance where necessary
What are we looking for:Essential- Experience in web analytics and knowledge of the digital eco system especially using Microsoft technology
- Experience creating Power Automate workflows with standard and custom connectors
- Understanding of the use of data to personalise journeys for the customer and ability to ensure the correct data is tagged to drive the agreed outcomes
- Experience of working within the Financial Services sector
- Knowledge of tag managers like Google tag manager, Adobe launch and Microsoft Dynamic tag manager
- Experience in analytic solutions like Google analytics, PowerBI platform and Adobe analytics
- Understanding of performance marketing channels
- Awareness of digital technology and understanding of what it involves and its impact
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in digital, data analyse and data visualisation
- Understanding of marketing behaviour and experience in optimising campaigns
Desirable- Experience in Search Engine Optimisation
- Experience in the Pensions sector
