Digital Content Writer

Location: York or Bristol

Salary Up to £35,000 (pro rata)

We’re looking for a skilled digital content writer to join our team full of talented writers and content experts in Aviva’s Creative Hub for 6 months FTC.

A bit about the job:

This role exists to create engaging and high-quality digital content that improves customer experience and drives marketing success.

As part of Aviva’s newly formed Creative Hub within the Centre of Excellence, you will collaborate closely with teams such as customer and marketing, SEO, and design to produce high-quality digital content across our website, campaigns, and email.

You’ll use customer insight to come up with creative content to help move customers through the right journey, at the right time – right the way down the marketing funnel.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a copywriting or editing role, or a degree in a writing-related field such as creative writing, journalism, or communications.

• You have worked with digital content, publishing, and/or worked in a digital marketing environment

• A quick learner who can understand various Aviva products and services, lead stakeholders effectively, and produce high-quality written content within deadlines and briefs.

• Experience of working in web, publishing and/or digital marketing environments

• Experience in creating content for the wealth market or financial services industry

Desirable:

• Experience working with UX teams, designers, and social media teams.

• A knowledge of Jira and Kanban project management systems.
