Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking a Digital Construction Manager in London to lead BIM and digital construction delivery across a major commercial project. You will drive BEPs, EIRs and information management standards and work with design teams, consultants and supply chain partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Digital Construction/BIM Management role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of design coordination and clash detection.
• Good working knowledge of COBie and information management.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, BEPs, EIRs and ISO 19650 principles.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive digital adoption and support project teams with BIM processes.
• Proactive with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate digital construction and BIM activities across projects.
• Manage and support design coordination and clash detection processes.
• Work closely with design teams, consultants and subcontractors to identify and resolve design issues.
• Support development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR).
• Manage project information and ensure compliance with digital standards and procedures.
• Coordinate delivery and federation of models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the implementation of COBie and ensure information requirements are met.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams and supply chain on BIM and digital construction processes.
• Promote adoption of digital construction technologies and drive continuous improvement.
• Produce regular progress updates and reports relating to digital construction delivery.
• Work with project and design teams to incorporate digital requirements into tender and construction processes.

Digital Construction Manager - London - Tier 1 Main Contractor - Major Commercial project

We are currently working with a leading main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Digital Construction Manager to join their team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced digital construction professional to take a key role in supporting the successful delivery of BIM and digital construction across major projects.

The Role:

As Digital Construction Manager, you will be responsible for driving digital construction delivery throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with project teams, designers, consultants and supply chain partners.

You will play a key role in ensuring BIM processes, information management standards and digital delivery strategies are implemented effectively across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate digital construction and BIM activities across projects.
• Manage and support design coordination and clash detection processes
• Work closely with design teams, consultants and subcontractors to identify and resolve design issues.
