Job summary

Global Canopy in Oxford is seeking a Communications Officer to support the Communications Lead in delivering digital communications across the Corporate Performance programme, including website content, newsletters, social media and webinars.

The role requires strong editorial judgment, excellent writing and the ability to translate complex topics for diverse audiences. It offers flexible home-working, monthly office presence and a 14-month maternity cover, with a salary of £33,000 FTE.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in communications, marketing, digital communications or related role.
• Experience translating complex or technical information for non-specialist audiences.
• Experience managing content via a website CMS and using Mailchimp.

Responsibilities

• Manage and publish content across Global Canopy’s websites, keeping content accurate and aligned with objectives.
• Coordinate and deliver newsletters and email communications, including Mailchimp campaigns.
• Draft, edit and proofread communications content for website, newsletters and social media.
