Job summary

Watford-based engineering consultancy is seeking a Digital Engineer (CAD) to deliver high quality 2D/3D CAD outputs for major infrastructure projects including rail and surface transport. You will leverage GIS and data tools to transform project information and support BIM/digital engineering workflows.

The role emphasizes 3D modelling, AutoCAD proficiency, and experience with Bentley/OpenRoads/MicroStation/Revit in a multidisciplinary team environment, with four days on-site in Watford.

Qualifications

• 3D modelling and AutoCAD experience.
• GIS experience (ArcGIS, Esri, QGIS or similar).
• FME or similar data automation and transformation tools.
• Strong attention to detail and information management skills.
• Good communication and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate high quality 2D and 3D CAD deliverables across infrastructure projects.
• Use GIS and data tools to manage, transform and improve project information.
• Support BIM and digital engineering requirements, including 3D modelling and data workflows.
• Create, manage and maintain engineering models and design information.
• Work within Common Data Environments to manage engineering information.
• Collaborate with engineering, design and project teams to drive efficient delivery.
