Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Universal Banker in the UK to deliver outstanding service, educate customers on digital platforms, and promote financial inclusion across branches.

You’ll be the first contact for customers, handling enquiries, educating on digital services, and supporting those with more complex banking needs.

The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, with a starting salary of £27,200 plus discretionary bonus, six weeks’ holiday, and extensive benefits including pension and private healthcare.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills enabling effective conversations and empathy with customers.
• Ability to own customer enquiries through to resolution and deliver friendly, efficient service.
• Resilient to a changing environment and able to adapt to branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact in the Branch Customer Service Team and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Educate customers on HSBC digital services and fraud awareness.
• Identify customers in vulnerable situations and determine the best support.
• Assist customers with more complex banking needs to ensure they feel supported.
