Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate to join Global Banking & Markets - Public Compliance for Digital Assets in London. You will act as a Compliance contact for the EMEA Digital Assets team, assessing on-chain and transaction-related risks and designing controls.

You will advise on the product lifecycle, monitor UK/EU/global regulatory developments, and coordinate with cross-border teams. This role requires a law/finance/tech background, 2+ years in compliance, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CISI are a strong plus.
• Minimum of 2 years' professional compliance experience; prior bank/broker-dealer experience desirable.
• Technical understanding of blockchain, tokenisation, smart contracts and on-chain mechanics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key Compliance contact for Digital Assets in EMEA, coordinating with cross-functional teams to assess on-chain, counterparty, and transaction-related risks and design controls.
• Advise on all stages of the digital asset and DLT product lifecycle—from design to governance, control implementation and ongoing supervision with a focus on tokenised capital markets and digital money solutions.
• Monitor and advise on UK, EU and global regulatory developments affecting digital assets and translate changes into actionable compliance frameworks for the EMEA region; coordinate with Americas & APAC teams.
• Support responses to regulatory exams, audits, and remediation efforts as the escalation point for significant Digital Asset Compliance issues.
• Understand cross-business and cross-regional risks, providing creative compliance solutions and building firmwide networks.
