Job summary

Westren Capital, a London-based proprietary trading firm, seeks an AML Compliance - Operations Quality Control Manager to own the firm's AML policies and monitoring across trading and operations.

You will work with trading, risk and legal teams to implement robust controls, stay ahead of UK and international AML rules, and investigate suspicious activity while keeping business velocity.

Qualifications

• Proven AML compliance experience within trading or financial services.
• Strong understanding of AML regulation applicable to digital assets.
• Meticulous attention to detail and risk judgement.
• Ability to work with trading, risk, legal, and operations teams.
• Experience with crypto AML challenges is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own AML policies, procedures, and monitoring frameworks across trading and operations.
• Perform due diligence on counterparties, venues, and transactions.
• Investigate flagged transactions and escalate genuine concerns.
• Refine quality control processes to catch errors before regulatory issues.
• Stay current with evolving AML regulation in the UK and internationally.
• Collaborate with trading, risk, and legal teams to ensure compliance.
