Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced Digital and Cloud Assistant Manager/Manager.

Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role in driving the firm's growth, with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

Our six solutions include business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. These solutions support our clients' strategic goals and empower our people to develop their careers.

Overall job purpose

This role is for a digital accounting assistant manager or manager for the North West region. The successful candidate will deliver client work, identify client opportunities, and promote cloud solutions, supported by the national digital accounting lead.

This is primarily a regional role with some travel required.

Responsibilities

1. Liaise with partners and portfolio managers to identify client opportunities and internal efficiencies for cloud implementation and optimisation.
2. Promote and carry out digital health checks across the ABA North West portfolio, tracking completion and follow-up opportunities.
3. Perform client work including cloud implementation, finance function optimisation, and Xero training engagements.
4. Oversee junior staff on projects, providing briefing, supervision, training, and reviewing work.
5. Raise awareness of digital solutions, especially cloud accounting, Xero, and related apps, among managers and partners, challenging current practices.
6. Stay updated with developments in digital accounting, maintain Xero certification, and undertake relevant training.
