Data Analytics Manager - €100k + Benefits - Amsterdam (Hybrid, 3 days in office)

The Company

WeComm is working exclusively with a long-standing client, a global footwear and apparel business based in Amsterdam. They are experiencing significant growth and are known for quality and sustainable fashion. They are expanding their eCommerce team and are seeking a Digital Analytics Manager to drive growth, efficiency, and customer engagement through digital performance insights.

The Role

This role combines strategic thinking and hands-on execution, leading a team to promote data-informed decision-making across eCommerce and marketplace platforms. You will collaborate with Digital, Marketing, IT, and Technology teams to optimize user experience and maximize revenue by analyzing customer behavior, site performance, audience segmentation, and financial metrics.

Responsibilities Include

  • Leadership & Team Management: Develop a high-performing analytics team fostering a data-driven culture that influences decision-making.
  • Reporting: Design, build, and deploy BI solutions for key stakeholders and identify improvements in current reporting methods.
  • Digital & Web Analytics: Oversee website and customer journey analytics, collaborating with internal teams to enhance digital performance.
  • Marketplace & eCommerce Data Insights: Track and optimize sales performance, channel attribution, and profitability with stakeholders.
  • Data & Business Intelligence: Align web analytics with backend data to provide a comprehensive view of business performance. Work with Regional and Global BI teams to improve data infrastructure, dashboards, and automation.

The Person

The ideal candidate should have a passion for data analytics, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate technical insights effectively to non-technical teams.

  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or Python, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker), and tag management (GTM, Tealium)
  • Experience working with marketplace data (Zalando, ASOS, Amazon, etc.)
