Job summary

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian to join our band 5 rotations within the busy acute adult team based at University Hospital Crosshouse.

The role involves managing your own caseload, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to local and national targets. A UK driving licence is essential for this permanent position, with 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Honours degree or postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics and HCPC registration.
• Experience in acute dietetics would be an advantage.
• Competencies include time management, organisational skills, self-motivation and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of your own caseload within the acute adult team.
• Work collaboratively with dietitians and dietetic assistant practitioners to deliver high-quality care.
• Contribute to national and local targets and drivers and participate in supervision/shadowing opportunities.
• Support student practitioners on A, B and C placements as appropriate.
