The Role
We are seeking a part-time Dietitian for 10-20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours if desired.
Our Dietitians work with a diverse range of patients and conditions, in our clinics and in the community.
Delivering a wide range of dietetic care and education, including assessment, planning, referrals, monitoring, and management for individuals, families, and communities with diverse health needs.
Leading individual and group sessions for various populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Providing education and skill-building initiatives that empower the local health sector and enhance its capabilities.
Building strong partnerships with Local Health Districts, allied health professionals, GPs, government and non-government agencies, and community groups to develop, coordinate, and implement health promotion programs.
About you:
At least 12 months’ experience working as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD).
Knowledge of best practice in private dietitian customer service delivery.
Good written and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to liaise with managers, clinical and administration staff, service providers, and customers.
Commitment to continuing education.
Experience with health promotion and marketing of dietitian services.
Member of Dietitian Association of Australia (DAA) with Provisional or Full APD status.
Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
Must have a working visa or be a permanent resident of Australia – please do not apply if you are seeking sponsorship.
