Dietitian Position in Bristol

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team in Bristol. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various settings, providing expert advice and support to help them achieve their health and nutritional goals. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality care and has a passion for promoting health through nutrition.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conducting thorough assessments of clients' dietary habits, medical history, and nutritional needs to create individualised nutrition plans.
2. Developing personalised meal plans and nutritional strategies tailored to each client's health requirements and goals.
3. Providing education and counselling to clients and their families on healthy eating habits, food preparation, and managing specific dietary conditions.
4. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and a holistic approach to patient health.
5. Reviewing and adjusting nutrition plans regularly based on client progress and changing needs to ensure optimal outcomes.
6. Maintaining accurate and detailed client records in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards.
7. Participating in community outreach and health promotion activities to encourage healthy lifestyles and raise awareness about nutrition-related issues.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Dietetics or a related field.
2. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or an equivalent body.
3. Experience in clinical dietetics or a related area.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
6. Commitment to client-centered care and promoting healthy eating habits.
