Lakefield Neurological Centre, Lambourne Road, Chigwell, IG7 6HH, is seeking a Dietetic Assistant to support therapeutic interventions and nutrition planning for young people with complex needs. You will work under a Registered Dietitian to monitor nutritional data, prepare education materials, and help with discharge planning and follow-up in a collaborative, CPD‑focused environment.

Requirements include CAMHS/eating disorder exposure, NCFE CACHE healthcare qualifications, and Associate

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a CAMHS and/or eating disorder service.
• The NCFE CACHE level 2 Certificate in Healthcare Support Services OR The NCFE CACHE level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support.
• Associate member of the British Dietetic Association.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of nutrition and dietetics as it relates to eating disorders.
• An understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health problems or other disabilities.
• Theoretical knowledge of Eating Disorders.

Responsabilités

• Assist and participate in the planning and facilitation of a range of training sessions and group work
• Collect data for audit or research purposes and record information accurately
• Promote healthy eating to young people within a nutrition education framework
• Ensure appropriate documentation is in place for a safe discharge, including appropriate follow-up
