Job Title: Heavy Plant Engineer

Location: Warrington

Neos Engineering is working with a large organisation seeking Plant Engineers to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a plant engineer looking to diversify the machinery they work on, with a focus on Heavy Rail Machinery.

The ideal candidate should have experience in the Heavy Plant sector, with previous work on brands such as JCB, CAT, Sennebogen, and Colmar. A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Plant/Agricultural machinery is required.

The role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing Heavy Plant equipment, including RRV Excavators, Dumpers, and MEWPS. It is a 70/30 split between workshop and mobile work, with a van provided.

This company is a well-respected industry leader, offering excellent training on complex machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Service, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery
• Work on excavators, loaders, dumpers, and material handling equipment
• Cover the North West region
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and diagnostics

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience with construction, quarrying, or rail machinery
• Eager to receive training, with interest in overtime and progression
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Construction or Agricultural Plant Maintenance
• Full driving license
