Job summary

Ernest-Gordon-Recruitment-Limited is seeking a Service Engineer in Glasgow to split time between depot workshop and field service, servicing welfare cabins, generators and tower lights. You will decide between workshop and client-site work with a company van and tools provided, and extensive overtime at 1.5x.

Ideal candidates have diesel engine experience from plant or welfare units, plus field service experience and a willingness to travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience working on diesel engines and/or generators.
• Field service experience and willingness to commute nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair welfare units, generators, and tower lights.
• Attend breakdowns in the field and perform PDIs in the workshop.
• Work Mon-Fri 8:30–17:00 with overtime as specified.
• Travel nationwide across Scotland and the Midlands.
