Rate: £17.67 (£35,834 per annum)

Diesel Fitter Job Overview

• Split working between the company workshop and customer sites
• Dismantle, diagnose and fit on a range of Diesel Pumps and Engines
• Undertake repair work in the company workshop on Pumps, Gearboxes and Engines
• Visit customer sites across Manchester as and when required
• Attend callouts for breakdowns as per company rota

Diesel Fitter Job Requirements

• Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering
• Previous experience in diesel fitting, ideally on pumps or engines
• Confident in stripping, repair and fitting of mechanical components
• Previous experience as a diesel fitter for the marine sector would be a bonus
• Based within a commutable distance of Wokingham
• Full driving licence – non‑negotiable

Diesel Fitter Salary & Benefits

• £17.67 per hour
• Full time, 39 hour week (Monday to Thursday 8:00‑16:30; Friday 8:00‑15:30)
• Overtime available
• 33 days holiday including public holidays
• Pension
