Job summary

Magna International Inc. is seeking a Die Casting Process Engineer in the UK to deliver sustainable die casting processes with ongoing improvement and strong cross-functional collaboration.

You will develop process documentation, lead CI projects and mentor teams to optimize HPDC operations and tooling interactions. The role requires experience in die casting processes, PFMEA/8D problem solving, and the ability to travel overseas for site challenges.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Packages.
• Creation of Standard Work Instructions (SWI).
• Experience in Lean manufacturing / OEE.
• PFMEA and 8D root cause analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote HSE policies across the department and plant.
• Provide technical lead on Die Casting process items.
• Lead CI and process improvement activities to reduce defects and improve OEE.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and PFMEA.
