Job summary

Map Talent Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of a £4m medical centre project in Didcot, Oxfordshire. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, drive the construction programme and manage subcontractors, labour, and site logistics.

The role emphasizes health and safety, quality control, and close collaboration with the Contracts Manager and client representatives. A salary of £60,000-£70,000 plus car and package is on offer for candidates with main contractor

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.
• Exposure to healthcare, commercial, public sector or similarly complex construction projects.
• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for site operations.
• Drive the construction programme and milestones.
• Manage subcontractors, labour, materials and site logistics.
• Maintain health and safety standards on site.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with Contracts Manager, design team and client reps.
• Identify and resolve site issues to keep progress.
