Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant for our Bridgend clinic. This full-time role (37.5 hours) involves supporting nurses, preparing and maintaining treatment areas, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.

Shifts run Mon–Sat, 6:30am–6:00pm, at the new Bridgend Dialysis Unit. Candidates ideally have a healthcare background with NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and can work proactively within a busy team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care preferred.
• Ideal candidate from a healthcare background.
• Methodical, able to follow procedures and support a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, restore and maintain areas and equipment for clinical treatments.
• Ensure treatment environment is safe for patients, relatives and visitors.
• Walk between patients and assist with lifting where required.
