Fresenius Medical Care in Merthyr Tydfil is hiring a Healthcare Assistant - Level 3 (Dialysis Assistant) to support dialysis treatment and patient care. The role requires a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent experience, with the ability to follow strict procedures and provide high-quality care.

The post is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, with shifting patterns Mon–Sat, including early starts.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in dialysis care is desirable.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis equipment for treatment and monitor vital signs.
• Liaise with patients, relatives and visitors.
• Ensure equipment is clean, stocked and safely stored; keep documentation up-to-date.
• Administer medication when required.
