Job summary

Mast Group Ltd is recruiting a Production Operative for our Deeside site to join the manufacturing and packing team of in vitro diagnostic products. The role requires working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, days only, with a focus on producing high quality products, accurate data capture for costing and labour time, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

Previous production operative experience is desirable.
Have a proactive approach to work.
Experience of following processes and procedures.
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment previously an advantage.
Ability to use a PC with MS packages.
Attention to detail is a must.
Willingness to learn and work to improve business efficiency.
Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Willingness to undertake training to improve skills.

Responsibilities

To work as part of the manufacturing team in the production and packing of in vitro diagnostic products.
To undertake tasks in any of the manufacturing areas as scheduled within the production planning process.
To produce high quality products to agreed standard operating procedures and costs.
To assist in the collection of data to ensure accurate costing of products and labour time data.
To correctly close down the process steps with costing and labour data.
If appropriate, to ensure quality control laboratory samples are labelled and stored or tested.
