Job summary

A leading automotive dealer group in England is seeking a skilled technician to perform diagnostics and repair on HGV and LGV products. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of diagnostics experience and an NVQ L3 or similar qualification. The role includes maintaining vehicles to high industry standards and completing service sheets accurately. Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostic, fault finding and repairs using manufacturer’s systems.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to industry standards.
• Complete job cards and service sheets correctly in line with warranty protocol.
• Complete job cards and service sheets using online systems correctly and in line with warranty protocol.

Working Hours

8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday

Plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8:00am – 12:00pm (paid as overtime)

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, fault finding & repairing using the manufacturer’s computer systems & tooling on LGV & HGV products.
• Carry out routine inspections, maintenance service and repairs on franchised and non-franchised marques to industry standard
• Carry out a wide range of defect repairs.
• Complete job cards and service sheets using online systems correctly and in line with warranty protocol.

Person Specification

• 3 years of diagnostics experience essential.
• Prerequisite NVQ L3 or similar is essential.
• Iveco / Fiat experience beneficial.
