Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic required.
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI or City & Guilds certification.
  • Desirable to be able to carry out MOTs, with training available.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Complete job cards and electronic write-ups.
  • Perform electronic vehicle health checks.
  • Support Apprentice Technicians as required.
  • Maintain Health & Safety protocols in the workplace.
  • Be confident using electronic tools and software.

Overview

The role involves working as a Vehicle Technician within Marshall Motor Group, supporting one of our popular brands in a state-of-the-art facility. You will be part of a team of experts providing diagnostic and repair services with training and development available.

Responsibilities
  • Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty approved work in line with brand parameters
  • Completing job cards and electronic write ups on franchise platforms
  • Completion of electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)
  • Support Apprentice Technicians as required
  • Operate with set processes and procedures as a team player
  • Carry out MOTs is desirable but not essential, with full training offered
  • Maintain motivation, dedication and organisation with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace
  • Be tech savvy and confident using iPad software
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with technical expertise to work at pace
  • A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)

  • Salary: £44,060 Basic plus uncapped OTE based on individual time saved, team profit and CSI Bonus
  • Hours: 45 hour working week with weekends on a rota basis
  • Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance and pension scheme
