Job summary

Peoples Ford in Bootle is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our team. You will perform diagnostic work, repairs and servicing across all vehicles, adhering to company and manufacturer specifications while delivering excellent customer service.

We encourage development through Ford Masters training and offer a range of benefits. Hours are 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday with a Saturday rota.

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnostic work and in both minor and major mechanical tasks.
• Ability to diagnose faults and rectify to manufacturer specifications.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and work quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
• Diagnose system faults and rectify faults, including replacing components and returning vehicle systems to manufacturer specification.
• Ensure work is carried out observing safe working practices.
