Salary: £34,000 - £39,000 per annum + an additional £2,000 on basic salary for EV enhancement, with an OTE of up to £45,000 & uncapped bonus potential.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays on rota basis

Lookers Skoda Guildford is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside 15 experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and additional repairs.

Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will receive ongoing support and training, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to advance your career.

Our technicians are vital to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle health checks using advanced technology
• Perform vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
• Carry out additional repairs with customer approval
• Complete warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines and proper documentation
• Road test vehicles to ensure faults are fixed
• Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and work to high standards. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are required. MOT licence is a plus.

Experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training will be provided.
