Job summary

Stellantis &You UK in Croydon is seeking a Diagnostic Technician to join our workshop. You will diagnose, service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, delivering high-quality repairs and first-time fixes.

You’ll complete vehicle health checks, identify additional customer needs, and support colleagues with technical guidance while pursuing ongoing EV training and skill development.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI or City & Guilds Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Technology (or equivalent).
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and manufacturer systems.

Responsibilities

Role Description:

The Role

As a Diagnostic Technician, you'll be a key member of our workshop team, diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle faults while supporting colleagues with technical expertise.

What We're Looking For

A Day in the Life:

“As a Diagnostic technician, you will be an experienced technician but also with the ability and passion for diagnosing trickier problems. You will be there to help out the other technicians on a daily basis when needed, but also the main person responsible for diagnosing faults. You will be using specialist tools to diagnose and repair faults. You’ll work closely with other technicians and the front of house service advisors to explain vehicle issues, as well as planning the correct maintenance and repairs.”
