Job summary

Sulis Hospital Bath is seeking a part-time Service Operational Manager to ensure the effective operational delivery of NHS and private diagnostic performance within its Diagnostic service. The post holder will collaborate with Clinical Leads, external stakeholders, and system leads to maximise patient throughput and respond to new initiatives within the CDC programme.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, the role focuses on achieving access, financial, and clinical governance targets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational delivery of NHS and private diagnostic performance.
• Support pathways and maximise utilization to increase patient throughput.
• Lead and monitor delivery across the CDC programme and Sulis Hospital Bath.
• Align with Clinical Leads, external stakeholders and system leads to address operational issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and readiness for DH/NHSE strategic direction.
